Malia Lym has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Malia is currently working as a Consultant, Corporate Speaker, Facilitator, and Trainer at Savvy LeadHER, where they support corporate clients in their leadership development. In 2022, they became a Panel Facilitator and Panelist at Malia Has Infinite Potential (S.H.I.P) Panel, where they engage in discussions on empowerment and personal growth.

In 2023, Malia will join Mantel as a Principal Engineer, Fixed Equipment. Malia also gained experience at Chevron as a Fired Heater Jr Subject Matter Expert and Design Engineer, where they conducted detailed analysis and developed reliability plans for fired heaters, and provided mechanical analysis, designs, and guidance for fixed equipment.

Malia's career began as a Technical Intern at the California State Water Quality Control Board, where they oversaw the installation of groundwater wells and approved drilling methods for environmental monitoring and remediation.

Malia Lym PE, MS has a strong educational background in engineering. Malia obtained their Master's Degree in Engineering Management from the University of Southern California from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Riverside, spanning from 2007 to 2012.
