Kiran Kalyan

Kiran Kalyan has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2002, they worked as a Software Engineer at Applied Research Group, Satyam Computer Services Ltd. Kiran then joined San Diego Supercomputer Center as a Research Intern in 2004, where they developed methodologies for secure messaging provisioning.

In 2006, Kiran became a Systems Analyst at Applied Research Group, Satyam Computer Services Ltd., focusing on systems analysis and development. Kiran transitioned to Intermedia Softech Ltd. in 2009, where they served as a Project Manager and Product Manager. During this time, they managed the development and delivery of an energy management software for a Fortune 50 company.

In 2012, Kiran joined Saraansh Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd. as the VP of Product Management, Sales, and Operations. Kiran held this position until 2016, overseeing product management, sales, and operations.

From 2016 to 2019, Kiran worked as the AVP of Strategy, Product Management, and Sales at Manipal Technologies Limited. Here, they were responsible for product management, AI solution integration, customer and partner management, and intense pre-sales efforts. Kiran also spearheaded business development and product management for CF line in India, ASEAN, the Middle East, and Africa.

In 2019, Kiran took on the role of Business Development and Solution Architect, MENA and ASEAN, at Mad Street Den. Kiran led the sales team for MENA and Asia, focusing on identifying the best solutions for customers.

Before joining their current position, Kiran worked at Intermedia Softech Pvt. Ltd. as the Lead Solutions Architect and later as the Product Manager and Architect. Kiran designed detailed software system designs for an AML detection software and worked on developing a spend and investment tracker with an emphasis on ease of development and reduced system resource usage.

Currently, Kiran is working at CIMware as a Solutions Architect, responsible for providing architectural solutions. Kiran recently joined MAPSystems in 2022 as a Product team member.

Kiran Kalyan has a diverse education history. They obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from UC San Diego, graduating between 2003 and 2006. Prior to that, between 1998 and 2002, Kiran earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) degree in Computer Science from both Visvesvaraya Technological University and RV College Of Engineering. They also completed their high school education at Sardar Patel High School, although the specific dates are unknown.

In addition to their formal education, Kiran Kalyan has pursued several certifications. They obtained a Professional Certificate in Product Management from the University of Maryland in July 2023. They also received an edX Verified Certificate for Modern Product Leadership from edX in the same month and year. Furthermore, Kiran holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Cybersecurity from Emeritus, obtained in February 2023.
