Ilya Zaprudski

Ilya Zaprudski is an experienced DATA RAVE specialist at Mapbox since March 2022, previously serving as Deputy Project Manager and Senior Researcher at Belarusian State University from September 2017 to December 2021. In this role, Ilya contributed to a significant national research project focused on assessing regional demographic security and human capital in Belarus. With a strong academic background, Ilya held positions as Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer, delivering lectures on various geographical subjects and disseminating research findings at international conferences. Additionally, Ilya was involved in mentoring and team leadership for the national Geography Olympiad, as well as developing training courses for tourist guides through the Belarus National Tourism Agency. Ilya holds a PhD in Economic, Social, and Political Geography and has a rich educational foundation in geography from Belarusian State University.
