Brett Jones

Brett Jones is a Full Stack Developer at Mapistry. Brett has previously worked as Lead Frontend Engineer at Rune Labs and Senior JavaScript Engineer at Help Scout. Brett has also worked as a Software Developer/Consultant at Keyhole Software and Software Developer II and Jr. Java Developer at ABC Financial Services. Brett has led frontend development of a data visualization platform for neurological data and created modular architecture with separation of concerns using React contexts. Brett has also maintained high unit and integration test coverage monitored by CircleCI. At Help Scout, Brett developed critical features, including live chat, knowledge base, reporting, and shared inbox. Brett also scaled the front-end team from single person to nine engineers and migrated the flagship product from legacy server-rendered architecture to realtime SPA. Brett drove the evolution of best practices including testing, code reviews, and more while at Help Scout.

Brett Jones holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Harding University and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the same school.
