Joel Palmer

Joel Palmer has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Joel started their career in 2011 as a Senior Software Engineer at Metalogix Software, where they developed content management and administration products for the SharePoint platform. Joel then worked as a Senior Lead Software Consultant at Catapult Systems, leading a team in designing and developing JavaScript and C# applications.

In 2014, Joel worked as a Senior Software Engineer at USDA via Joel Palmer, LLC, where they designed and developed file management and mailing list management solutions. Joel then joined Enel Green Power North America, Inc. as a Senior Software Development Engineer, working on customer-facing apps and financial reporting.

Continuing their career, Joel joined Apex Systems as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on full-stack development and creating a qualification system for potential candidates. Joel later worked at Harland Clarke as a Senior Software Engineer, leading the development of eCommerce shops and enabling shoppers to personalize products.

Joel Palmer attended California State University-San Bernardino from 1994 to 1997, where they studied Mathematics. Joel did not obtain a degree from this institution. In terms of additional certifications, Joel obtained MCP C# for Windows from Microsoft in December 2003. Joel also holds certifications in Microsoft Certified IT Pro, Microsoft Certified Professional Developer, and Scala Programming for Data Science - Level 1 from IBM, although specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
