Maj Nedergaard began their career in 2006 as an Intern at CBD Group. In 2008, they worked as a Researcher at Qvist Executive Search for 6 months, followed by a 1 year period as a Business Manager at HIGH PERFORMANCE PROGRAMS by MB. From 2012 to 2017, Maj worked at TARGIT A/S in various roles, including Marketing Manager, EMEA, Research and Campaign Manager, and Market Analyst. In 2017, they took on the role of Head of Global Marketing at MapsPeople, where they lead the Global marketing efforts for selected segments and works with partners to grow demand through industry campaigns.

Maj Nedergaard obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Aalborg University between 2003 and 2006. Maj then went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Organization and Strategy from Aalborg University between 2006 and 2008. In 2019, Maj Nedergaard obtained certifications in Email Marketing, Inbound, Inbound Marketing, Sales Enablement, HubSpot Marketing Software, and HubSpot Sales Software from HubSpot. Maj also obtained a 2-Day Growth Hacking Crash Course certification from Growth Tribe Academy.
