Program Manager at Mapware

Olivia Alegria has a broad range of professional experience. Olivia began their career in 2011 as a Museum Ambassador for the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. In 2014, they became President of the Historical Ballroom Dance Club at UCLA, where they coordinated between benefactors, UCLA departments, dance instructors, and professional musicians. In 2016, they took on the role of Editor-in-Chief for the Aleph Undergraduate Research Journal for Humanities and Social Sciences, where they trained and provided feedback to 37 reviewers and editors. That same year, they also became a Student Educator at the Hammer Museum, where they designed and facilitated discussion-based tours and activities. In 2017, they held an internship at SpaceX as a Sales Intern and a Research Assistant at the University of California, Los Angeles. In 2018, they moved to SpaceX as a Proposal Editor, managing, writing, and editing proposals for federal government and commercial customers. In 2021, they joined Mapware as a Program Manager, Capture & Proposal Manager, and Technical Writer. In their role as Technical Writer, they managed successful proposals for a variety of federal agencies, wrote and edited technical content for proposals, marketing materials, and white papers, and developed foundational competitive intelligence to inform product features and pricing.

Olivia Alegria received their Bachelor's Degree in Communication from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2018, having started their studies there in 2014.
