Chase Chen has a diverse range of work experience spanning different industries and roles. Chase began their career in 2003 as an Energy Data Analyst at ITRI. Chase then worked as a Staff Officer in the Taiwan Marine Corps before transitioning to a Senior Production Planning Engineer role at United Microelectronics Corporation.
Chen furthered their education by pursuing an MBA at the W. P. Carey School of Business, where they served as a Graduate Assistant and Full-Time MBA Student in the Department of Supply Chain Management.
Following their MBA, Chen joined Harman International as a Supply Chain Intern, where they focused on integrating data flows and improving reporting accuracy. Chase then joined Marathon Oil Corporation in various roles, including Global Procurement Business Analyst, Senior Supply Chain Representative, and Supply Chain Project Lead. In these positions, they managed supply chain support, negotiated and executed contracts, and implemented innovative sourcing solutions.
Currently, Chen is employed at Marathon Oil Corporation as the Supply Chain Contracting Lead, responsible for managing supply chain contracting and leading regional operations support.
Throughout their career, Chen has demonstrated strong skills in supply chain management, contract negotiation, and strategic sourcing, contributing to the successful execution of exploration drilling programs, cost savings, and risk mitigation.
Chase Chen received an MBA in Supply Chain Management from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from National Tsing Hua University. Chase also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the same university.
