Jonathan Schaefer

Jonathan Schaefer has a diverse work experience in the oil industry, starting their career with Offshore Contract Services LLC in 2006 and progressing from B operator to A operator to Lead operator in federal and Texas state waters. Jonathan then joined Murphy Oil Corporation in 2013 where they served in various roles including Facility PIC Lead Operator and Eagleford Shale Maintenance Lead. In 2019, they moved to Ensign Natural Resources as an Artificial Lift Specialist and later became an Integrated Operations Center Operator. Currently, they are working as an Operations Control Center Lead at Marathon Oil Corporation as of March 2023. Additionally, in 2004, they worked as an Automotive Technician at Advanced Automotive until 2006.

Jonathan Schaefer attended Texas State Technical College from 2002 to 2004, where they obtained Automotive Service Excellence certifications in Automotive Technology. Additionally, they hold certifications in PEC Safe Gulf Safe Land from PEC Premier Safety LLC and Well Control from IADC Houston Chapter.
