Currently serving as the Manager of Technical Accounting - Planning at Marathon Oil Corporation since January 2002, Joseph Bakies focuses on standard setting activities, including IFRS convergence and compliance with the Dodd-Frank Act. Previously, in a managerial role at USX Corporation, Joseph Bakies provided accounting research and implemented key financial standards.
