Shawn Tracey

Shawn Tracey has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Shawn began their career as an Attorney at Eastman & Smith Ltd. in 2004 and worked there for two years. Shawn then joined Marathon Petroleum Company as a Senior Counsel in 2006 and remained in that role until 2010. From 2010 to 2015, they served as the General Counsel and Secretary at Equatorial Guinea LNG Company, S.A. In 2015, they joined Marathon Oil Corporation as the Group Counsel for North American Production Operations and held that position until 2017. Shawn then became the Assistant General Counsel for Resource Plays and U.S. Operations until 2018. In 2018, they were promoted to the Director of Business Development role and in 2022, they became the Vice President of Business Development at Marathon Oil Corporation.

Shawn Tracey completed a B.B.A. in Finance, General from The University of Toledo from 1989 to 1995. Shawn then pursued an M.B.A. in Business Administration and Management, General from The University of Toledo from 1999 to 2000. Additionally, Shawn also obtained a J.D. degree from The University of Toledo College of Law from 1999 to 2001.
