Katrín Rós Baldursdóttir

Katrín Rós Baldursdóttir has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. In 2007, they started their career as a Project Manager at Actavis, where they worked for nearly five years. From March 2012 to May 2015, they served as the DRA Information Systems Manager at Actavis, focusing on strategy and filings in the regulatory affairs department. Katrín Rós then transitioned to the role of RA Information Systems Manager and later became the Senior Manager of Regulatory Submissions Management.

In 2017, Katrín joined Eimskip as a Project Manager, responsible for business process management. After two successful years, they moved to Össur in June 2019, taking on the position of Process Manager for Global Process Development.

Most recently, in April 2022, Katrín joined Marel as a Software Engineering Manager, specializing in MES solutions. Katrín Rós then advanced to the role of Software Engineering Director in July 2023.

Throughout their career, Katrín demonstrated expertise in project management, regulatory affairs, process development, and software engineering.

Katrín Rós Baldursdóttir completed a Lean management course, specializing in 64 hours of Lean, at Reykjavik University in 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a B.Sc in Biology from Háskóli Íslands. Katrín Rós also pursued further studies in Biotechnology, earning an M.Sc from Lund University.
