Alec Williams

Alec Williams is currently the Director of Market Surveillance Compliance at Marex, a position held since 2024. Previously, at Investec from 2014 to 2016, Alec progressed from Market Surveillance Officer to Head of Market Surveillance, overseeing the Market Surveillance program and collaborating with senior stakeholders on surveillance strategies. Earlier in Alec's career, from 2010 to 2012, they worked at Transact in various roles, including Compliance Monitoring Officer and Process, Risk & Control Analyst. Alec earned their degree from The University of Hull, where they studied from 2003 to 2006.
