Michael C.

Michael C. has a comprehensive work experience in law enforcement and security. Michael served as the Executive Chief of Compliance and Training at the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office starting in 2022. Prior to that, they were the Chief of Police and Director of Public Safety at Grand Canyon University from 2021 to 2022. Michael also had a long and successful career in the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) from 1999 to 2021, where they worked their way up from Special Agent Investigator to Assistant Special Agent in Charge. Additionally, Michael C. worked as a Police Officer for the Flagstaff Police Department from 1994 to 1999, where they received recognition as the 1997 FPD Officer of the Year.

Michael C. completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Northern Arizona University-The W. A. Franke College of Business between 1988 and 1993. Michael then pursued further education at the National Defense University, where they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Military National Resource Strategy and Policy from 2006 to 2007. Additionally, Michael attended the FBI National Academy, completing the 238th Session Graduate/Counselor program for Executive Level Law Enforcement Leadership Training, which took place until 2009.
