Ricardo de Azambuja

Ricardo de Azambuja, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Automation Engineer at Questat since December 2023 and is a member of the Marie Curie Alumni Association. Previously, Ricardo was a Research Associate at Polytechnique Montréal, leading research on unmanned aircraft systems, and has held various postdoctoral and research positions where contributions included the design of autonomous drones, over-tourism solutions, and innovative robotics projects. With an educational background consisting of a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Plymouth and degrees in Electrical Engineering, Ricardo has extensive experience in robotics, artificial intelligence, and automation. Additionally, Ricardo's entrepreneurial roles include participation in startup acceleration programs and research commercialization.
