Leon Peshkin is a Principal Research Scientist and Non-tenure-track Lecturer in the Systems Biology Department at Harvard Medical School since April 2004, specializing in the application of Artificial Intelligence to complex biological phenomena. Peshkin also serves as Adjunct Faculty at the Marine Biological Laboratory, teaching Xenopus Bioinformatics workshops since May 2012. Peshkin is the Chief Executive Officer and President of a venture focused on deep singularity since December 2001. Previous positions include Visiting Faculty at the Institut des Hautes Études Scientifiques and various consulting roles, including at Fina Technologies and Gene Network Sciences, where Peshkin contributed to the development of Bayesian modeling frameworks for financial and biotechnological applications. With a strong educational background, including dual PhDs in Computer Science from Brown University, Peshkin's expertise encompasses probabilistic models, systems monitoring, and data mining, supported by earlier roles at renowned institutions and companies.
