Nikos Karamolegkos has a diverse work experience that spans across various companies and roles. Nikos is currently employed at Kpler and MarineTraffic as a Research Engineer. Prior to this, they worked at MarineTraffic as a Research and Development Engineer. Before joining MarineTraffic, they worked at ICS-FORTH as a Research and Development Engineer from May 2020 to February 2023. Nikos also had a brief experience in the Greek Army as part of their conscription from October 2019 to April 2020. Prior to that, they worked at ICS-FORTH as a Research and Development Engineer from March 2016 to September 2019, and as a Postgraduate Research Fellow from February 2016 to February 2019. Additionally, they served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Crete from February 2016 to March 2019. Nikos started their career as an Automation Engineer at DEYA in July 2014. Throughout their career, Nikos has gained extensive research and development experience in various fields.

Nikos Karamolegkos started their education in 2007 when they attended High School in Santorini-Thira. Nikos completed their high school education in 2010. Following that, from 2010 to 2015, they attended the Technical University of Crete, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering. Nikos'sstudies at the university focused on computer hardware engineering, software, and networking. Later, from 2016 to 2019, Nikos attended the University of Crete, where they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications.
