Petros Anagnostopoulos Tsialiamanis

Petros Anagnostopoulos Tsialiamanis has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Petros is currently serving as the Lead Kafka Engineer and Lead Core Technologist at Marionete since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Director at Fire & Axe Ltd from September 2017 onwards. Petros also held the position of Kafka Engineer at NatWest Group from August 2020 to January 2022. Before joining NatWest Group, they worked as a Java Developer at Mastercard from October 2017 to February 2020. Prior to that, Petros served as a SW Engineer III at NCR Corporation between July 2016 and October 2017. Petros also worked at Secureworks as a Software Dev Staff Engineer from February 2015 to July 2016. Petros gained experience as a Software Engineer at Edesix from March 2012 to January 2015. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Research Assistant and R&D Engineer at ICS-FORTH from February 2008 to October 2008 and November 2008 to September 2011, respectively. Petros also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Crete from September 2008 to September 2010.

Petros Anagnostopoulos Tsialiamanis completed their education at the University of Crete. From 2001 to 2008, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science at the University of Crete. Following this, from 2008 to 2011, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the same university.

In addition to their formal education, Petros Anagnostopoulos Tsialiamanis has obtained several certifications. In June 2017, they became an Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 7 Programmer, and in September 2014, they achieved the Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 7 Programmer certification. Petros also holds the CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer certification from The Linux Foundation, which they obtained in February 2023.

Furthermore, Petros has obtained the HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate certification from HashiCorp in December 2021. Petros holds the Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS), which they obtained in April 2020, and the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification, obtained in February 2020.

Additionally, Petros Anagnostopoulos Tsialiamanis has the Confluent Certified Administrator for Apache Kafka certification from Confluent, obtained in February 2021, and the Confluent Certified Developer for Apache Kafka certification, obtained in May 2020. Petros also obtained the GIAC Secure Software Programmer-Java (GSSP-JAVA) certification from GIAC in December 2015.
