Michael Strom

Michael Strom has a wealth of experience in the accounting and finance industry. Michael began their career in 1999 as an Intern at Ernst & Young, where they performed Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable confirmations, planned and scheduled appointments with clientele for field work, and reconciled clientele accounting records. Michael then moved to Peoples Education, where they held various roles from 1999 to 2012. These roles included Senior Accounting and Budget Manager, Accounting Supervisor, Senior Accountant, and Junior Accountant. During this time, they managed a department of six, oversaw the generation of monthly financial statements for senior management, analyzed departmental reports, and approved payroll for all employees. In 2012, they became Accounting Manager at Dude Solutions, Inc., where they managed a department of six, oversaw and reviewed the monthly and quarterly financial statements for senior management and board of directors, and worked with senior management on budgets and quarterly forecast reporting requirements. In 2017, they moved to Data-Metrix as Controller, where they oversaw monthly and quarterly financial statements for executive team and board of directors, managed all aspects of cash, and maintained the Quickbooks Accounting system. In 2018, they became Controller at PathGoal Employer Services. Finally, in 2022, they joined Marius Pharmaceuticals as Senior Manager of Finance and HR. In this role, they focused on innovative therapies designed for testosterone deficiency, or hypogonadism, and worked to improve the functional lives of patients by reducing the downstream effects of testosterone deficiency.

Michael Strom attended Pompton Lakes High School twice, followed by DeVry University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Michael also holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting certification.
