Catherine Murchie

Catherine Murchie's work experience includes serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Markaaz since May 2023. Previously, they worked as an Advisor at Florens: A Flourishing Collective from October 2022 to September 2023. Prior to that, they held various roles at Everyware®, including General Manager from January 2023 to May 2023 and Product Manager from June 2022 to December 2022. Catherine also has extensive experience at Mastercard, where they held senior leadership positions such as Senior Vice President, Operations & Technology from March 2018 to April 2022, and Senior Vice President, People & Capability from April 2016 to March 2018. Catherine also served as the North America Leader for Network Products, Issuer Processing & Security Solutions from April 2015 to April 2016 and held roles in Investor Relations, Corporate Finance, Global Product Manager, and Emerging Payments, among others, from 1998 to 2015.

Catherine Murchie has a diverse education history. Catherine completed an Executive Education Leadership Program at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business. Additionally, they pursued Executive Education at Columbia Business School, focusing on Negotiation and Conflict Resolution. Catherine also attended Harvard Law School for Executive Education, specializing in the Program on Negotiation. Catherine holds a Master of Arts degree from George Mason University's Schar School of Policy and Government and a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of South Carolina.
