Heather O'Brien

Heather O'Brien has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Heather started their career in 2015 as a Respite Care Worker at Countryside Association for People with Disabilities, where they provided support to a family and an individual with disabilities. Heather then worked as a Sales Associate at Nordstrom for a brief period in 2017. In 2019, they were a Camp Counselor at South Barrington Park District. Heather then transitioned into education, working as a Special Education Case Manager Transition Teacher at School District U-46 from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Consumer Sales Specialist at Marker Learning, starting in February 2023. Throughout their career, Heather has gained experience in providing support to individuals with disabilities, customer service, and education.

Heather O'Brien attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Speech and Hearing Science. Afterward, they pursued further education at the University of Oregon from 2019 to 2021, earning a Master's degree in Special Education.
