Telia Butler is an experienced professional in the fields of downtown development, media relations, marketing, and journalism. Currently serving as the Downtown Development Coordinator for the City of Bowling Green, KY, since December 2021, Telia focuses on enhancing the downtown destination experience. The career includes roles such as Throwback Thursday Reporter for Marquee Broadcasting, Inc., and Media Relations Director for the Mid-South Conference. Telia has also held various positions in sales and marketing within the hospitality industry, including Director of Sales at Courtyard by Marriott and Marriott Area Director of Sales & Marketing for Anderson Hospitality Group. With a Bachelor of Arts in History and Print Journalism from Western Kentucky University, Telia has contributed as a freelance journalist and public relations director, showcasing a commitment to community engagement and promotional strategies throughout the region.
