Rena Crumplen

Rena Crumplen is a seasoned professional in the pet care and food industries, currently serving as the Global Vice President of Research and Development at Mars, where responsibilities have also included the roles of Global Vice President of Innovation, General Manager for Canada, and Vice President in various capacities including Marketing and Manufacturing. Prior experience includes a leadership position at The Coca-Cola Company as Vice President of Global Innovation, and multiple senior vice president roles at Parmalat Canada focused on Technical Development, Cultured Products, and Research. Rena holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry from Heriot-Watt University, an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University, and completed an Executive Program at Harvard Business School. Additional educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Microbiology from the University of Waterloo, enhanced by knowledge from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
