Stefano Crosta has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Stefano started their career as a Software Developer at Progetto Software from 1997 to 1999. Stefano then worked as a VHDL Designer at DoReMi Labs in 2000 before co-founding CertiMate, a network security start-up, where they worked as a co-founder and developer from 2000 to 2005. Stefano then joined digitalemagine.com in 2004 as an Owner, focusing on web development and integration of open source CMS. In 2006, they joined Cisco Systems as a Software Engineer in the Tech Center, working on projects related to Immersive Collaboration and Second Life. Stefano also held the position of External Professor at Institut Eurecom from 2006 to 2012 and worked as a Research Engineer and Project Manager at the same institute from 2001 to 2006. In 2008, Stefano made a leap to a new start-up, Slice Factory, where they served as the CTO, leading the development of Internet applications and browser extensions. Stefano later joined 3H Partners as the Director of 3H Technologies from 2012 to 2014. Currently, they hold the position of VP Software Development at MARSS Group, a role they have been in since 2014.

Stefano Crosta completed their Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Torino from 1995 to 2000. In the year 1999-2000, they pursued a specialization in Multimedia and Networking, earning a Master's degree (MSC - specialization) from EURECOM.
