Srotoswini Karmakar is a postgraduate researcher at Martha Farrell Foundation since April 2023. Previous experience includes serving as a junior analyst in ESG research at ISS ESG from September 2021 to August 2022 and engaging in various research internships focused on policy, including time with The Ministry of Jal Shakti and Centre for Legislative Research and Advocacy. Karmakar's research has covered significant topics such as organ donation policy and child trafficking in India. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Development Practice from Trinity College Dublin, an MA in Sustainable Development from TERI School of Advanced Studies, and a BA in Political Science from Delhi University. Additionally, Karmakar has ongoing French language training at Alliance Française and has a background in the social sciences from high school at D.A.V. Public School.
