Julian Ide

Julian Ide currently serves as Vice Chair and Head of EMEA Distribution at Franklin Templeton since August 2020. In addition, Julian is the Non-Executive Chair at Martin Currie and has held the CEO position along with leadership roles in distribution and strategy since May 2018. Previous experience includes independent consulting at Knightons Capital, CEO roles at Source ETF and Old Mutual Global Investors, and various key positions in distribution and sales at companies such as BBVA Asset Management, Credit Suisse, ABN AMRO Asset Management NV, Schroders, and Merrill Lynch. Julian Ide holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Cambridge and a Master of Laws from The University of Law.
