Karen Powell

Karen Powell has extensive experience in human resources and employee experience. Karen currently holds the position of Vice President of Employee Experience at D.A. Blodgett - St. John's. Prior to this, they worked as the Vice President of Human Resources at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital, where they oversaw the daily operations of the hospital and reduced the nurse turnover rate. Karen also established the hospital as veteran-friendly to promote community inclusion. Before that, they served as a Benefits & Enrollment Specialist at Grand Rapids Public Schools, where they managed employee benefits and improved relations between unions and executive leadership.

Karen Powell attended Davenport College of Business, where they pursued a Professional Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Karen'smajor was Human Resources with a focus on Accounting.
