They began their career at Stryker as an Information Technology Intern, where they gained experience in search engine optimization and troubleshooting hardware and software issues. They then moved on to Consumers Energy as an Engineering Intern/Co-op, working on electric distribution projects and assisting in circuit design using CAD and ArcGIS software.

Following this, Alex joined Airwave Networks as a Remote Network Support Specialist, providing network support and troubleshooting services to customers over the phone and on-site. They then worked as a Controls Engineer at Bastian Solutions, where they designed, programmed, and troubleshooted highly automated systems using PLCs and HMIs.
