Brenda Corter

Brenda Corter, MBA, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Currently, they are the Director of PMO, Product Development at Masonite™, a position they assumed in January 2023. Prior to this, Brenda was the Program Management Office, Sr. Manager at Masonite™ from July 2022 to January 2023.

Before joining Masonite™, Brenda worked at HAVI from 2013 to 2022, where they held various leadership roles. From September 2019 to August 2022, they were the Director, Packaging PMO responsible for establishing and leading the first PMO within the business unit. In this role, Brenda managed a global team of four project managers and provided support and coaching for assigned projects.

From September 2017 to September 2019, Brenda served as the Director, Program Management & Commercialization, leading the newly formed Program Management team. Brenda directly managed large, complex programs and ensured their successful execution. Prior to this, Brenda was the Director, Packaging Development from January 2015 to September 2017, managing the continuous improvement project portfolio and leading a team responsible for the development and commercialization of renovation projects.

Brenda's earlier experience includes working at Diageo from 2003 to 2013, where they held various managerial positions. Brenda served as the Sr. Manager, Innovation Commercialization from August 2012 to March 2013, overseeing the delivery of projects across Innovation in North America. Brenda also worked as the Manager, Brand Change from November 2007 to August 2012, managing major brand change and conversion strategy projects.

Prior to Diageo, Brenda worked at Transparent Container as a Conceptual Designer from November 2000 to September 2003. Brenda also held the role of Structural Designer at AGI/Westvaco from September 1998 to October 2000, and as a Packaging Design Engineer at Aspen Packaging from January 1998 to September 1998.

Brenda Corter, MBA, PMP, obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Packaging from Michigan State University in 1997. Brenda then went on to pursue their MBA in Marketing from DePaul Driehaus College of Business, completing it in 2003. In 2019, they obtained certifications in PMP® from Cheetah Learning and Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute.
