Project Design Lead at Masonite International

Carl McDonald has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Carl began their career as a Carpentry Apprentice at McDonald Construction in 1988 and stayed there until 1995. Following that, they worked as a Mechanical Designer/QA Technician at Leggatt and Platt from 1995 to 1996. Carl then joined Trojan Technologies, where they held various roles including Municipal Designer - Sales, Project Manager, Manufacturing Engineering Technologist, and Mechanical Designer - Research and Development. Carl also worked at Givens Engineering Inc. as an Industrial Salesperson in 2014 and at CKGP/PW & Associates as a Project Engineer from 2014 to 2016. In 2017, they became a Manufacturing Engineer at Dashwood Industries, and more recently, in 2018, they took on the position of Project Design Lead at Masonite International.

Carl McDonald studied at Lord Dorchester Secondary School from 1986 to 1990. Carl then pursued a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technician - Design from Fanshawe College from 1990 to 1993. Finally, they completed a program in Project Management Specialist from Fanshawe College in 2016.
