Wes Edwards is an experienced transit operations professional, currently serving as the Deputy Chief of Operations Planning, Scheduling, & Strategy (OPSS) at the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) since December 2017. Previously, Wes held the role of Special Project Manager at King County Metro Transit, where guidance was provided for the Long Range Plan to secure public and governmental alignment on a 25-year vision for transit expansion. Prior experience includes a decade as a Transportation Planner for King County, WA, emphasizing inter-agency collaboration. Wes holds a Master of Public Administration and a Master's degree in Urban Planning from the University of Washington, both earned between 2005 and 2008.
