Marianna McCormick

VP, Community Investment, Greater Boston Region at MassDevelopment

Marianna McCormick is the Vice President of Community Investment for the Greater Boston Region at MassDevelopment. Marianna has over eight years of experience in project management and community development. Prior to their current role, they were the Assistant Vice President of Business Management Analyst for the Office of Regulatory Initiatives at State Street from June 2015 to April 2017. In this role, they were responsible for managing reports, training, and communications for Regulatory IT Initiatives across the portfolio.

Before State Street, Ms. McCormick was the Program Manager for the Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development at the Commonwealth of Massachusetts from August 2014 to June 2015. In this role, they managed complex projects with varied constituents on time and within budget. Marianna also was responsible for creating and delivering training sessions, developing SharePoint sites, and running standards and guidance meetings as they related to regulatory compliance.

Ms. McCormick started their career as a Rowing Coach for Harvard University’s Intramural program from April 2013 to May 2015. Marianna then transitioned to Senior Project Management/Community Development at Community Rowing Inc. from September 2011 to June 2015. In this role, they were responsible for ensuring adherence to compliance standards across the bank.

Ms. McCormick has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Northeastern University.

Marianna McCormick holds a Master of Business Administration from Simmons College - Simmons School of Management, a BS from Boston University, and a Graduate Degree in Clean Energy and Sustainablity from the University of Massachusetts Boston, School of Management.
