Oliver Stevens

Oliver Stevens has a wealth of experience in the tech industry, beginning in 2003 when they were a System Administrator for South Gloucestershire Council. In 2005, they became a Research Software Engineer for Sharp Laboratories of Europe, followed by a Software Engineer role at DisplayLink in 2009. In 2011, they began their academic career at the University of Bristol, where they were a Postdoctoral Research Scientist, Royal Academy of Engineering Enterprise Fellow, Teaching Assistant, and PhD Student. In 2017, they joined Entrepreneur First as an EF9 Cohort Member. In 2018, they became Machine Learning Engineer at Massless and CTO/Co-Founder at Swish - Augmented Reality for Wellness.

Oliver Stevens completed their secondary education at Marlwood School, where they obtained an A-Level in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and General Studies between 1998 and 2005. Oliver then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Engineering at the University of Cambridge, which they completed in 2009. Following this, they completed a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Information and Data Engineering at the University of Cambridge in 2010. In 2011, Oliver Stevens began their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics at the University of Bristol, which they completed in 2015.
