Patrick Creegan is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in distribution-related legal issues within the insurance industry. Currently serving as Lead Counsel for Distribution at MassMutual since July 2016, Patrick oversees legal matters involving approximately 7,500 producers, focusing on recruitment, agent on-boarding, contract enforcement, compliance, and regulatory inquiries. Prior to this role, Patrick worked at MetLife for 26 years in various capacities, including Assistant General Counsel, where responsibilities encompassed managing legal issues for 4,000 financial services representatives. Patrick's experience also includes advising on workplace law issues as Senior Counsel, involvement in corporate ethics as part of the Corporate Ethics and Compliance Department, and litigation management within the Policy Litigation Unit.
