Fabrizio Burlando

Fabrizio Burlando is the EVP, Data & Services at Mastercard. Fabrizio has over 20 years of experience in management consulting and has worked with some of the world's largest organizations.

Fabrizio began their career as a project manager with Arup, a global engineering and construction firm. Fabrizio then moved into management consulting, first with PA Consulting Group and then with The Boston Consulting Group (BCG). At BCG, they rose to the position of project leader before leaving to join the United Nations as a senior consultant in 2004.

After a year with the UN, Fabrizio returned to BCG before joining Mastercard in 2008. Fabrizio was initially based in the UK, heading up Mastercard's European operations. In this role, they grew the business significantly, tripling revenue while also increasing margin. Fabrizio then took on global responsibility for Mastercard Advisors, the company's professional services arm, before their current role overseeing data and services.

Fabrizio Burlando has an MBA from INSEAD, Executive Education from Yale School of Management, a Summer Master Degree from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), a Master in Science from Università degli Studi di Genova, and a Visiting Research Fellowship from University of Twente.

Fabrizio Burlando reports to Raj Seshadri, President, Data and Services. Fabrizio Burlando works with JoAnn Stonier - Chief Data Officer, Adam Granoff - SVP, Digital Payments, and Fabien Thiaucourt - SVP, Enterprise Data Platforms.
