Ben Cotner

Ben Cotner has a strong background in the film industry, starting their career at Paramount Pictures as an Executive Director of Acquisitions & Co-Productions. Ben then joined Open Road Films as an SVP of Acquisitions before moving on to work as Director/Producer for "The Case Against 8" documentary. Afterwards, Cotner became the Director of Original Documentaries at Netflix, where they stayed from 2015 to 2019. Subsequently, they joined A24 as a Documentaries executive, and as of 2023, they are currently serving as the VP of Creative at MasterClass.

Ben Cotner attended Culver Military Academy from 1994 to 1996. Following this, they attended the Indiana Academy for Science Mathematics and Humanities from 1996 to 1998. Finally, they completed their education at Pitzer College from 1998 to 2002, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned.
