Matthew Ward

Matthew Ward has a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology industry. Matthew is currently the Vice President of Engineering at MasterControl. Prior to this role, Matthew served as a Member of the Board of Advisors at Dragon Spirits Marketing, where they provided valuable expertise in team building, organizational design, eCommerce, and scalable architecture.

Matthew also has experience as the Owner/Operator of Reformed Rocker Productions and as the Vice President of Development at Human Interest. In the latter role, they oversaw multiple organizations and played a key role in upleveling the organization's employee capabilities and implementing service-oriented architecture.

Before joining Human Interest, Matthew was the Head of Engineering - Financial Management at Procore Technologies, where they successfully transformed the engineering organization and led the development of a multi-million dollar business. Matthew has also worked at Nordstrom as the Director of Engineering for Payment Systems and Digital Content, and at Amazon as a Software Development Manager.

Throughout their career, Matthew has showcased their expertise in team leadership, organizational transformation, and technology development. From their early roles at ImageShack and Zynga to their recent positions at high-growth startups and established companies, they have consistently delivered results and made significant contributions to the organizations they have worked for.

Matthew Ward attended Virginia Tech, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Their areas of focus included Computer Science, Business Leadership, and Russian.
