Jose Maldonado

Jose Maldonado is an Operations Engineer currently employed at Matador Resources Company since May 2023. Previously, Jose served as a Reservoir Engineer Intern at Hilcorp, where significant contributions included optimizing well performance and developing economic projects in Caillou Island. As an Operations Engineer Intern at Harvest Midstream Company, Jose identified improvements in chemical injection systems and managed a project that enhanced automation and operational efficiency. At UT-RAPID, Jose gained experience in real-time data acquisition for drilling fluids as an Undergraduate Research Assistant. Earlier, Jose worked as a Facilitator at the George Gervin Fitness Center, managing daily operations and client relations. Jose holds a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
