Brett Tomson

Brett Tomson has a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology industry. Their responsibilities included advising executive management, project management, team and organizational leadership strategies, application and database architecture and development, and business intelligence architecture.

In addition, Tomson worked as a Practice Director - North America at Lucient, where they served as a Principal Architect and managed multiple high visibility projects. Brett designed and developed business intelligence solutions, mentored clients and client development teams, and delivered presentations on SQL Server and BI topics.

Tomson also played a key role as the Founder and former chapter leader of the Triangle SQL Server User Group, an official chapter of PASS. Here, they delivered presentations and led meetings, recruiting speakers and fostering the development of local speakers in the Triangle community.
