Ninna Thomsen

Ninna Thomsen has extensive experience in public administration and leadership. Currently serving as the Director at Mødrehjælpen since February 2018, Ninna previously held the position of Health and Care Mayor for Københavns Kommune from January 2010 to December 2017, overseeing nearly 10,000 employees and a budget of approximately 6 billion. Ninna's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Officer at Gladsaxe Kommune from 2006 to 2010, initially focusing on economically disadvantaged children and youth before transitioning to a leadership role in social administration, managing cross-sectional analyses and budget follow-ups related to elderly care, disability, and employment. Ninna's academic background includes a cand.scient.pol. degree from the University of Copenhagen, earned between 1998 and 2006.
