Karen Schneider

Karen Schneider is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in public health and epidemiology. Currently serving as a Principal Researcher at Mathematica since July 2023, Karen previously held several leadership roles at The Lewin Group from July 2016 to May 2023, including Managing Director, Managing Consultant, and Senior Consultant. Prior to that, Karen worked as a Senior Research Scientist at John Snow, Inc. (JSI) from September 2007 to June 2016. Karen's academic background includes obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Epidemiology from Brown University, where academic involvement spanned from 2003 to 2007, following a Bachelor's degree in Sociology earned from Brown University between 1996 and 2000.
