Adrian Fung

Adrian Fung has extensive experience in the field of business intelligence and sales engineering. Adrian started their career at Dundas Data Visualization Inc., where they held roles as both a Support and Consultant for Business Intelligence from May 2012 to June 2013. Adrian then joined the Central Community Care Access Centre as a BI Developer from November 2013 to February 2016. Adrian went on to work at Pfaff Automotive Partners as a BI/Data Architect from February 2016 to November 2016. Following this, they held the position of Lead BI Consultant at BigHand from November 2016 to July 2021. Adrian then worked at Domo, Inc. as a Solution Consultant from July 2021 to November 2021. Currently, they are employed at Matillion as a Sales Engineer, and from November 2021, they were promoted to the role of Senior Sales Engineer.

Adrian Fung has an Honours in Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo.

In addition to their formal education, Adrian has obtained multiple certifications. Adrian became a Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark 3.0 from Databricks in April 2023. Adrian also earned the Matillion Certified Practitioner certification from Matillion in 2023. Adrian obtained the dbt Developer certification from dbt Labs in July 2022, and the Collibra Workflow Engineer Certification from Collibra in June 2022.

Furthermore, Adrian has achieved various certifications from Microsoft. Adrian obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certifications in April 2022.

Additionally, Adrian holds certifications from other institutions. Adrian obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2022, the SnowPro Core Certification from Snowflake in March 2022, and the Matillion Associate Certification from Matillion in February 2022.

Earlier in their career, Adrian obtained the Demo2Win! certification from 2Win! in January 2022, the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2021, and the Major Domo certification from Domo, Inc. in August 2021.
