Alan Goodrich

Alan Goodrich has an extensive work experience in the field of solutions architecture and data analytics. Alan has recently worked as a Solutions Architect at Matillion, starting in December 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Solution Architect at ChaosSearch from January 2021 to December 2021, where they helped customers achieve the full potential of a unified data lake. Before that, Alan worked as a Solution Architect at Teradata from 2017 to 2021, where they created analytic solutions for customers in various cloud environments. Alan started their career at Oracle in 1994, where they worked as a Practice Director until 2002. Alan then worked as a Practice Partner at Teradata from 2002 to 2008. From 2008 to 2012, they served as a Big Data Solutions Architect at Oracle, where they assisted strategic customers in defining their information architecture and approach for big data initiatives. Alan also has a background in sales, having worked as a Big Data Sales Specialist at IBM from 2012 to 2017. Throughout their career, Alan has been involved in various aspects of analytics, including open source platforms, cloud solutions, hybrid architectures, and data strategy. Alan has also acquired certifications in Cloudera Certified Administrator for Apache Hadoop (CCAH).
