Alex Otwell

Alex Otwell is a passionate and results-driven leader with extensive experience in sales development and team management. Currently serving as the Director of BDR at Matterport since January 2024, Alex plays a key role in driving revenue growth and building high-performance sales teams utilizing innovative 3D technology. Prior to this, Alex held various leadership positions at Cvent for nearly a decade, overseeing a team of over 40 Sales Development Representatives and managing strategic initiatives for sales growth. Additional experience includes roles at Vocus, where Alex excelled in delivering revenue growth as a Director of Sales, and positions at LivingSocial and WJLA-TV/NewsChannel 8 focused on new business generation and account management. Alex holds a BBA in Marketing and Business Administration from The George Washington University.
