Jennifer Sakurai

Jennifer Sakurai is a senior food technologist and recruiting specialist at Mattson. Jennifer has over fifteen years of experience in the food industry, with a focus on research and development.

Jennifer began their career in 2007 as a scientist at Frito Lay, where they worked on product development for Doritos and Cheetos. In 2011, they participated in Lay's All Natural national campaign, appearing in a commercial that aired on national networks.

Jennifer Sakurai earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Food Science and Technology from the University of California, Davis. Jennifer also holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Food Science from The University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Food Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
