Dávid Mércse serves as a Project Engineer at MÁV-csoport since April 2012, leading the design of the IC+ driving trailer project and specializing in railway car parts design, supplier interaction, production support, technical drawing verification, and procurement expertise. Prior roles at MÁV-csoport include Vehicle Development Engineer, Vehicle Construction Engineer, Vehicle Expert Engineer, and Engineer Trainee, contributing to various projects, including the IC+ and FMK 008 measuring train. Earlier experience includes a trainee position at Ganz Engineering and Energetics Machinery Ltd. Dávid holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics, a Bachelor's degree in Engineer-Economist from Budapest Business University, a certificate in Quality Management System Improvement from TÜV Rheinland, and completed a postgraduate degree in Electrical Vehicle Driving Engineering at Széchenyi István Egyetem.
