Maven is looking for a Sales Development Manager who will support our growing team and be a driving influence in expanding our pipeline and ultimately sales.  This individual will join an industry leading team to further advance our capabilities to accelerate Maven’s mission of transforming women’s and family healthcare for members everywhere.  Alongside the Director of Sales Development, the Sales Development Manager will work with Growth Team leadership to develop strategies to further the team’s efficiency, support expansion into new markets and industries, and promote increased pipe velocity.

As a Sales Development Manager at Maven, you will: 

  • Report to our Director of Sales Development supporting the development and execution of strategies to achieve pipeline development goals across US and International employers and labor organizations.
  • Drive a high-performance culture within the sales development team by developing and utilizing data and analytics to identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and productivity as well as assess team member performance
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management and implementing corrective actions as needed
  • Support the SDRs in identifying leads, generating prospect lists, and handling objections to grow new business pipeline.
  • Partner closely with the Growth Marketing team to co-develop strategies to drive sufficient qualified leads to meet pipeline goals, while incorporating campaigns and strategies to ensure high level so qualified lead conversion with our sales team.
  • Provide detailed analysis, reporting and accurate forecasting to the Growth Leadership team using Salesforce and other data sources
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to develop the skills and careers of your team members to drive success.

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • The ideal candidate will have a successful background as an IC and manager in exceeding pipeline quotas, both individually and with their team
  • This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent coaching skills and a proven track record of driving team success
  • Management  and coaching abilities with a passion for developing talent and driving team success
  • Willingness to listen to call recordings, review top-of-funnel metrics, and host coaching sessions.
  • Collaborative and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Salesforce expert
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong preference for someone who has progressed from an BDR/SDR role to an AE role with a high degree of quota attainment.
  • Healthcare and value-based-care experience is a plus
  • Experience with Sandler sales methodology

For candidates in NYC, CO, or CA, the base salary range for this role is $110,000 - $135,000 per year. You will also be entitled to earn commission and receive stock options and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.

This role is only open to candidates in the NYC-metropolitan area and will require you to be in-office for 3 days each week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). While flexibility will always be core to Maven’s policies, we also believe in the power of in-person connection. Our hybrid work policy was created with both principles in mind.
