BalaSaheb Vadnere has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. BalaSaheb is currently the Chief Data Officer at mavQ, an independent AI company launched by MTX Group. BalaSaheb is responsible for driving actionable information that informs business operations across multiple industries. Prior to mavQ, they worked at GCOM Software, Inc. as the Practice Leader for Data Analytics, focusing on meeting the technology needs of State and Local Governments. Before that, BalaSaheb was the BI Practice Leader & Enterprise Data Solution Architect at Infogain (Former Blue Star Infotech America) and the BI DW Practice Leader at Blue Star Infotech. BalaSaheb also served as the Director for Data Services and Analytics at CIGNEX and Relevance Lab, where they built and led the Data Services and Analytics practice. BalaSaheb began their career at Capgemini (Former Patni / IGATE) as a Senior Manager, playing multiple roles in India, USA, and UK. BalaSaheb was responsible for BI Delivery for business units such as GE and Telecom and also provided pre-sales support for the EMEA region. Prior to Capgemini, they worked at Sonata Software as a Manager, leading the delivery of BI-DW project teams for a global FMCG/CPG company. BalaSaheb's early career includes roles as a Senior Engineer at ABB, where they were responsible for commissioning high-power rectifier systems.

BalaSaheb Vadnere obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Electronics, Computers, and Instrumentation from the University of Mumbai, where they studied from 1989 to 1992. Prior to that, they had completed a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University, from 1986 to 1989. BalaSaheb also holds several additional certifications, including "Measure What Matters (Blinkist Summary)" obtained from LinkedIn in October 2020, "Lead Like a Boss" obtained in December 2018, and "Manage Your Organization's Big Data Program" obtained in May 2017, all from LinkedIn.
