Bertram Ellis

Mr. Ellis is an active entrepreneur in the media and technology industries, having founded and operated numerous companies, both private and public, that have achieved significant returns for his investors. Mr. Ellis currently serves as President and CEO of Ellis Communications, venture capital and merchant banking firm based in Atlanta, GA. Ellis Communications makes growth capital investments in small and medium sized businesses that possess high earnings and growth potential, with a focus on the media and technology industries. Mr. Ellis also acts as President of Titan Broadcast Management, a management firm that operates 15 broadcast television stations nationwide in several top markets. Previously, Mr. Ellis was Vice-Chairman and Director of Scient, Inc. (a public IT consulting firm), Founder and Chairman of iXL Enterprises (a public IT consulting firm), Founder and CEO of Ellis Communications (private broadcast television group sold for $840M), and President and CEO of Act III Broadcasting (private broadcast television group sold for $530M). Mr. Ellis received a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia as well as an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
