Sridharan Govindaraj

Sridharan Govindaraj has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity and network audit. Sridharan currently holds the position of Head of Cybersecurity Architecture, Strategy, and Planning at Maxis, where they have been working since July 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Cybersecurity Automation and Analytics from July 2021 to December 2021. From July 2019 to June 2021, they were the Head of Cyber Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance at Maxis. Before joining Maxis, they worked at Axiata as a Customer Experience Analyst from July 2012 to February 2015. Earlier in their career, they held various positions at Dialog Axiata PLC, including Specialist - Network Audit, Senior Executive - Network Audit, and Coordinator - Network Audit. Sridharan also worked as a Field Engineer at Computerland International from January 2007 to November 2007 and as a Trainee Software Engineer at Honeywell Technology Solutions, Inc. from August 2005 to January 2006.

Sridharan Govindaraj obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Anna University from 2001 to 2005. Sridharan then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Technology Management from the University of Moratuwa from 2009 to 2011. In terms of additional certifications, they received the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2021 and the AWS Certified Security - Specialty certification from AWS in June 2023. Sridharan also holds certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in 2020, Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) from ISACA in 2018, and Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) from ISACA in 2012. Additionally, they completed the course "15.071x: The Analytics Edge" offered by MITx on edX in 2017.
